Come Join Us For Classes
Come to the shop to sign up for classes and get your supply list.
Beginning Quilting
Our beginning quilting class has been a real success. We will be scheduling a November class soon. We will offer this class every month except December. The class is $30 and this includes your pattern. Come by the shop to find out when the next available class begins.
Turning Twenty
In this class you will learn to take 20 fat quarters and turn them into a beautiful quilt. This class will begin on November 2nd. Come by and see the sample that we have made.
Jelly Roll Class
Our first jelly roll classes filled up quickly and we have had several requests to have this class again. We will begin this class again in January. Stop by and see the quilt that you can make with only one jelly roll. It is truly amazing.
Class Policies
Class Registration Policy
1. Pre-registration is required. Call or come by the shop to register.
2. Class fee is due at the time of registration.
3. Review the quilt sample or other class project and pick up your supply list prior to the day of class.
4. Bring your basic sewing supplies including: scissors, seamripper, ruler, pins, needles, thread, pencils, and any other supplies you personally prefer.
5. For machine classes, make sure your machine is in good working order. Bring any accessories, cords and attachments required to operate your machine.
6. In case of inclement weather, call ahead to verify if your class will be held.
7. If the class you sign up for does not reach it's minimum number of participants, the class will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. Usually classes need at least 4 people for the class to make.
8. If Main Street Fabrics cancels the class, a refund will be issued.
9. To be fair to other class participants and teachers, cancellation for a class must be given 48 hours in advance of the class.
10. Please do not bring guests or children to the class, as only paid participants may attend the class.
11. We want you to enjoy your class and will make every effort to ensure this happens, therefore, we ask that you take cell phone calls out of the classroom so as not to disturb the other people.
